Not familiar with all of the hundreds of essential MPS recordings or rather not splash out some heavy cash on all the albums this is brilliant introduction to this incredible label. Joachim-Ernst Berendt using the MPS back catalogue to educate the development of jazz. Some great cuts on here by George Duke, Don Byas, Joachim Kühn....the list is long.
